Devon Dionne is a co-founder of In Movement Pilates and a movement specialist with over 20 years of experience, blending advanced Gyrotonic Method certifications, Balanced Body Pilates training, and a professional dance background to help clients recover from injury and move with lasting strength and freedom.
Devon's story starts on the professional dance stages of New York, where she came to understand that movement is the foundation of longevity and true physical mastery. That immersion in the world of high-performance artistry introduced her to the Gyrotonic Method, and ignited a passion for teaching that has only deepened since 2004.
After moving to Los Angeles in 2005, Devon built her reputation as a specialist in human biomechanics. Her approach has been shaped by work alongside anti-aging physicians, a certification in holistic health counseling, and years spent exploring wellness traditions from around the world as a podcast host. With more than twenty years of teaching behind her, she holds numerous advanced certifications in the Gyrotonic Method and is a Balanced Body certified Pilates instructor. Devon partners closely with medical professionals to guide clients through complex injuries, designing personalized programs that restore freedom, strength, and a deeply integrated sense of well-being.

A specialist in clinical rehab and athletic optimization, Gina uses a rigorous technical toolkit to deconstruct movement patterns and help clients perform at their absolute peak.
For over 20 years, Gina has dedicated herself to mastering the dialogue between the human body and the precision of movement. Her practice is built on a rigorous clinical foundation, allowing her to navigate the most complex physical challenges with clarity and expertise.
Gina's technical repertoire is extensive, holding certifications in both Pilates and the Gyrotonic Expansion System, including specialized training on the Pulley Tower, Jump Stretch Board, and Gyrotoner. This multi-disciplinary approach gives her a unique toolkit to deconstruct movement patterns and rebuild them for optimal efficiency. Whether working in clinical rehabilitation or partnering with professional athletes to refine peak performance, Gina operates on the firm belief that physical limitations are simply starting points. By combining fluid, circular power with structural integrity, she creates a pathway for clients to look, feel, and perform at their absolute best.

Talia is a Classical Pilates instructor who creates a body-positive environment where all sizes, shapes, and ages are welcome, whether someone is meeting the reformer for the first time or deepening an established practice. Her teaching is grounded in thoughtful progression, with an understanding of how Pilates can build self-trust and offer a grounding space for busy minds.

A veteran instructor and nutrition expert with over a decade of experience, Mimi brings “infectious enthusiasm” and a holistic approach to helping clients reach their fitness goals.
From her roots as a multi-sport athlete in California to her career as a successful actress and infomercial host, Mimi Umidon has never stopped moving. With over a decade of experience, including years spent mentoring and certifying the next generation of Pilates instructors, Mimi brings a rare level of “infectious enthusiasm” to every session.
Mimi's journey through yoga, CrossFit, and the Gyrotonic Method eventually led her to Pilates, which she believes is the ultimate foundation for genuine whole-body fitness. Her approach is holistic; she integrates her extensive background in nutrition to help clients achieve their goals both on and off the Reformer. Guided by the belief that fitness should be as fun as it is functional, Mimi creates an empowering environment where every client can thrive.

Her sessions are crafted with intelligence and intention, focusing on low-impact movements that yield deeply effective, high-impact results.
Whether working with a first-time beginner or an advanced mover, Abbe's primary focus is on alignment and injury prevention. By fostering a deep sense of body awareness and sustainable strength, she helps her clients cultivate a balanced, resilient physique. Abbe's goal is simple: to help every individual feel more connected, confident, and harmonized within their own body.

Melissa's passion for Pilates is rooted in a deep appreciation for movement as a lifelong tool for independence and quality of life. After seeing firsthand how mobility, or the lack of it, impacted the confidence and well-being of her own family members, she dedicated herself to helping others preserve their vitality.
Melissa believes that mindful movement is the key to longevity. Her teaching style focuses on alignment and body awareness, creating a supportive environment where clients of all ages feel empowered. By building a foundation of strength and mobility, Melissa helps her clients move through life with greater confidence and a deeper connection to their bodies.

A professional ballerina turned Gyrotonic specialist, Alina uses the specialized applications to help clients find fluid strength and deep healing.
Originally from Riga, Latvia, Alina's foundation in movement began with professional ballet. Her dance career eventually brought her to the United States, where she was introduced to the Gyrotonic Expansion System by her close friend and mentor, Devon Dionne. This discovery opened a new world of understanding for Alina, revealing the profound healing and strengthening power of the method.
Alina is a highly versatile trainer, having completed extensive coursework in Gyrotonic Levels 1 and 2, the Jumping Stretching Board, Gyrotoner, Archway, and specialized Pre/Postnatal Applications. She is passionate about helping clients unlock greater flexibility and strength through this fluid, rhythmic body of work. With her technical precision and graceful approach, Alina looks forward to guiding you on your own path to movement and connection.

Specializing in spinal and joint rehabilitation, Annalisa blends clinical experience with a creative, hands-on approach to support breast cancer recovery and pre/postnatal wellness.
Annalisa's journey into movement began as a personal mission: a determined effort to heal the chronic pain and structural imbalances that had long limited her own mobility. What started as a path to self-recovery transformed into a calling when she discovered a natural gift for body assessment and a deep joy in guiding others toward their own relief.
Annalisa's expertise is grounded in significant clinical experience. Having shadowed her Master Teacher in a physical therapy setting, she developed a keen eye for rehabilitating complex injuries of the spine and joints. Her background also includes specialized work in women's health, where she has supported clients through breast cancer recovery, the pre- and post-natal journey, and pelvic health.
Known for her “out-of-the-box” thinking and intuitive, hands-on approach, Annalisa creates a supportive, intentional space at In Movement Pilates for every body to thrive.

A direct student of Pilates Elder Romana Kryzanowska, Julie is a Master Trainer who specializes in high-risk prenatal care, pelvic floor recovery, and abdominal rehab.
A classically trained ballerina with credentials from the North Carolina School of the Arts, London Contemporary Dance Company, and NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Julie is recognized as one of the most versatile instructors in Los Angeles. Her Pilates lineage is elite: she trained under first-generation Pilates Elder Romana Kryzanowska and earned her certification through Power Pilates in New York.
With over two decades of experience, Julie bridges the gap between East Coast and West Coast styles. As a Pilates Master Trainer through the Pilates Sports Center, she brings a high level of continuing education and professional certification to the studio. Whether she is mentoring new instructors or working with long-term clients, Julie's approach is a powerful blend of technical precision and artistic movement.

Following a personal journey through injury rehab, Reese specializes in rebuilding core stability, spinal mobility, and full-body strength with a resilient, mindful approach.
Reese's dedication to Pilates is born from a powerful personal recovery. After a 2017 car accident led to eight months of physical therapy for spinal and shoulder injuries, she turned to Pilates to reclaim her strength. What began as a tool for healing became a lifelong practice of rebuilding stability and mobility from the inside out.
With a foundation in yoga that began in childhood, Reese has always possessed a deep sense of body awareness. By bridging that early mind-body connection with the technical precision of Pilates, she helps her clients master core stability and breath control for lasting wellness. In Reese's sessions, you can expect a focused, intentional workout that prioritizes full-body alignment, balance, and the kind of strength that supports you far beyond the studio walls.

With 600+ hours of NYC-based training, Sienna blends classical Pilates with myofascial release and gait assessment to help clients build resilient, pain-free bodies.
A Los Angeles-based multimedia artist and movement specialist, Sienna Kresge brings a unique, philosophical lens to the Reformer. Originally from Boise, Idaho, her foundation in movement was built through a family of dancers and refined at Chapman University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a double BA in Dance and Philosophy.
Sienna's approach is deeply informed by her 600+ hour comprehensive certification through Erika Bloom Pilates in New York City. Her expertise spans classical repertoire and contemporary myofascial techniques, with specialized training in gait assessment, scoliosis protocols, and pre/postnatal rehabilitation. By blending the precision of “Anatomy Trains” theory with a gentle yet rigorous teaching style, Sienna facilitates a “nourishing embodiment” that helps clients process stress and build lasting physical resilience. A session with Sienna is more than a workout; it is an invitation to invigorate the body and move through the world with athletic confidence and ease.
